Verhoef Dairy Farm

We express our appreciation to the Verhoefs for sharing their inspiring story. Although their farming journey started in the Netherlands, the Verhoefs spent two decades on a small farm in the Mayenne Department of France before they decided to seek new opportunities in the U.S. In the fall of 2012, they took over their current farm in Spring Green, WI. Despite the colder climate, the family quickly adapted to their new environment and now manage a herd of 280-290 cows. Their two sons are also actively involved in the farming operations, and they have developed a strong attachment to their new home.  In the spring of 2024, we constructed this 205' diameter x 12' deep round manure storage tank.  This tank added close to 3 million gallons of storage to their operations.  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your expansion!
