Giving Back to the Rosendale-Brandon Community: A Back-to-School Donation That Matters

Back-to-school season is often filled with excitement. However, for many families here in Wisconsin and beyond, it can also be a time of stress. Crowded aisles, long lists, and rising prices can make school supply shopping a daunting task.

In fact, the National Retail Federation notes that families spend, on average, more than $850 during back-to-school time on school supplies, clothes, electronics, and other essentials.

That reality sparked a meaningful conversation here at Pipping Concrete.

As Jake Theyerl, General Manager at Pipping Concrete, recently reflected on how overwhelming and expensive this time of year can be for parents, including our team members and customers, an idea was born.

To help ease the back-to-school burden, we proudly donated all the necessary school supplies for 4K through 5th-grade students at Laconia Elementary School in the Rosendale-Brandon School District.

Supporting Local Students on their Educational Journey

Our goal was simply to make the transition back to school a little easier for local families and give young learners at Laconia Elementary the tools they need to start the year off strong.

We made a donation to cover the cost of necessary supplies for students. The impact was even bigger than we imagined.

We heard from so many grateful parents and teachers who were relieved and touched by the gesture. But perhaps the most heartwarming moment came in the form of a handwritten thank-you card from a first-grade student named Calvin.

Their colorful note reminded us exactly why we do what we do—and why giving back means so much.

Investing in the Future of Our Community

Our back-to-school donation aligned perfectly with our company’s family values and deep roots in the community.

At Pipping Concrete, we believe strong communities are built by supporting one another, and that includes helping the youngest members grow and thrive. Whether we’re pouring concrete or investing in classrooms, we’re committed to lifting up the people and places that make this area home.

We want to thank the Rosendale-Brandon School District for allowing us to be a small part of your journey this year. We’re honored to support the next generation and proudly stand with this amazing community.
